Abstract :
This paper investigates the Doppler resolution capabilities of Choi-Williams distribution (CWD) in the context of radar returns, which are so complex in real-time. In general, two signal components are considered to be “resolved” when two distinctive peaks can be observed. The aspect of resolution plays an important role in a radar scenario while distinguishing targets from unwanted clutter environments. The CWD has been taken for the resolution analysis due to its inherent capability of resolving multicomponent signals
