Abstract :
In order to understand the effect of ash-flushing water from power plant on groundwater environment, the ash-flushing water in Baqiao power plant, xi´an is taken as a research object. The domestic water consumption of people was affected directly for the pollution of groundwater. To determine the groundwater contamination and the mechanism of water-rock interaction, two soil column experiments were conducted. One simulated the ash-flushing water infiltration and the other simulated the precipitation infiltration. The results indicates that, during the ash-flushing water infiltration, the hardness, SO42-, and F-, Cr6+ in the soil are leached into the groundwater, showing the ash-flushing water infiltration affect the quality of groundwater. The minerals participate in the chemical reaction include calcite, dolomite, gypsum, feldspar, and illite etc. The chemical reaction abilities are the main formation mechanism of the groundwater chemical components.
