Phase unwrapping of multibaseline interferometry using Kalman filtering

In this paper we present a new phase unwrapping method for multiple interferometric SAR measurements, which is based on Kalman filtering. We consider phase images as a sequence of measurements and apply 3-D Kalman filtering to effectively combine those measurements. We also use the pseudointerferogram to reduce the phase aliasing. We investigate a multi-model approach to deal with phase discontinuity. The performance of this algorithm is shown with simulated images
