Abstract :
An edge detection algorithm designed for a custom CMOS hardware implementation is presented. The integration of this edge detector into an image sensing chip has been evaluated through SPICE analysis and measurements on fabricated devices. The performance of this edge detector has been quantified through image processing simulation
