  • Abstract
The fingerprint identification system in this research based on Ethernet transmission is to collect teachers´ fingerprints by using embedded fingerprint module ZFM-20 and then to complete the preprocessing, feature extraction and fingerprint matching. In this research, microprocessor ARM Cortex-M3 with high cost performance is used as the main control chip, moreover, built-in 100M Ethernet module has been used to complete the transmission of fingerprint, log and other information, which has reduced the cost of hardware. PC, with a laboratory management system, PC in which has database functions, can store information of users´ fingerprint data and attendance log to further enhance the daily management of university laboratories.
