Abstract :
USB2.0 controller has implemented communication among host machine and memory by using transceiver and device controller. In the design, an SOPC(System on Programmable Chip) system is built by Virtex-II Pro FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array); MicroBlaze soft core in FPGA is used as control unit and CY7C68001 SX2™ USB 2.0 interface device is used as a transceiver communicating with host machine. It designs an USB device controller IP(Intellectual Property) core according to OPB(on-chip peripheral bus) regulation and implements an integrated USB communication system. This design mainly contains the following aspects: firstly build a system on chip which is based on MicroBlaze soft core; Secondly, it designs the USB controller IP core, which shall conform to OPB bus interface; Write IP core control procedures; Finally, verify the performance of system by writing program of driver and application on PC.
