Abstract
This paper investigates a uniplanar quasi-Yagi antenna as an element to build a broadband spatial power combiner using the tray configuration. Five and seven-tray structures each consisting of two back-to-back connected Yagi antennas are developed and tested in terms of return loss, insertion loss and the uniformity of the field across the set. The obtained results show that the quasi-Yagi antenna is a suitable element to develop a broadband spatial power combiner
