Abstract :
A novel microstrip circulator employing a magnetized ferrite sphere has been developed. Based on conventional microstrip techniques, the manufacture of the circulator is convenient. A ferrite sphere covered with a metal cap is placed at junction center hole of three microstrip arms and fixed firmly by a low loss adhesive. The adhesive can be dissolved easily by ethyl alcohol. So it is easy to change the circulating frequency of the circulator simply by replacing ferrite sphere with ones of different diameters. Experimental results at Ka band are presented
