Abstract
Migrant workers are of a special group in China, who make special contributions to the city´s economic construction, whereas, their life is lack of basic security because of unsound system. This situation not only hurts the work ethic of migrant workers, also initiate serious social problems. Among these problems, there is no doubt that how to get a better life when they grow old is of great significance. This paper focuses on analyzing the factors which influence migrant workers when deciding to Participate in Pension Insurance, using the social security theories and Logit model. In conclusion, Age factor, education factor, wage level, and whether the insurance relations can transfer or not play a positive role. Moreover, this paper gives some suggestions on the migrant workers pension insurance based on the different factors.
