  • Abstract
    This paper reports our recent work on Direction-Of-Arrival (DOA) estimation and adaptive beamforming with a four-element direct down conversion receiver array for C-band (5.8 GHz) wireless LAN applications. The RF front-end including planar quasi-Yagi antennas and baseband circuitry are packaged back-to-back, resulting in a compact single-card design. Excellent DOA results based on Multiple Signal Classification (MUSIC) algorithm has been obtained, allowing significant improvement in the quality (SNIR) of the received signal
