Abstract
Most of known autofocus techniques used for SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) processing are iteration techniques [1, 2, 3]. This paper presents a new concept of non iterative Autofocus MapDrift algorithm. The proposed technique properly estimates radar platform flight parameters applied after only one iteration. It enables quick focusing of the image of the observed area. The proposed technique can be successfully used at real-time SAR processing, both for Earth imaging and MTI (Moving Target Imaging) parameters estimation (e.g. velocity, acceleration).
