Abstract
The subject of this paper is a Petri net tool for simulation and control. This tool is used in conjunction with a Petri net editor called NETMAN to create a well integrated toolset for design, simulation, and control. This paper discusses a type of colored Petri nets that are used for the model description and the simulation tool. The details of the code generation are discussed, along with some possible uses of the generated code for both simulation and control. A published example of a stochastic Petri net is presented, and the results from the simulation are compared to the numerical solution
