Abstract
The electric field predicted using a novel deterministic two-dimensional simulator for propagation in an urban environment is compared with a knife edge approximation. The novel two-dimensional simulator is advantageous because it allows for a better geometrical and electric characterization of the urban environment. Additional improvements over the knife edge approximation are also discussed
