Abstract :
A new integrated software/hardware environment based on the interaction of a PC and a DSP processor, DSP56002, which can be extensively used as a platform for the implementation and evaluation of real-time digital signal processing algorithms, is discussed. Besides referring to the main features of Motorola´s DSP56002 evaluation module, used in this application, a presentation of the environment, is also given. The whole design is done in such a way, that it is quite easy for every DSP engineer to add on his own DSP applications
