  • Abstract
    This paper studies the guaranteed cost control problem of networked control systems with stochastic protocols. The plant is equipped with multiple actuator nodes. The communication process between the controller and the actuator nodes is governed by stochastic protocols and modeled as a stochastic sequence. The closed-loop networked control system is modeled as a switched system with stochastic switching. A sufficient condition is presented for the closed-loop networked control system to be stochastically stable with a cost performance bound. A controller design procedure is also presented based on the obtained criteria. Moreover, the condition is dependent on the access probabilities of the nodes and the packet dropout probability, and thus the relation among the access probabilities of the nodes, packet dropout probability and the cost performance bound is implicitly established. An example is utilized to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
