Abstract

Proposes an intelligent sales forecasting system which consists of four parts: (1) data collection, (2) general pattern model, (3) special pattern model, and (4) decision integration. A novel fuzzy logic which is capable of learning (fuzzy neural network) is developed to capture the experts´ knowledge for promotion. Model evaluation results indicate that the proposed system can more accurately perform than the conventional statistical method and single ANN
