Abstract
In this paper, a simple but effective nonlinear strategy is proposed and applied for the control of induction motors. The basic idea is to use linear quadratic control for several operating points and to integrate obtained gains in a unique nonlinear one, available for any considered operating point, using polynomial interpolation. The obtained nonlinear controller is used to steer the rotor speed and flux magnitude to the designed trajectories. The proposed control algorithm enables an optimum choice of the output voltage of the static converter. Computer simulations are done to demonstrate the performances of our multimodel control design.
