Abstract :
This paper describes a novel speed control system with flat torque control for switched reluctance motor (SRM) drives. The flat torque controller as current regulator not only realizes the motor current waveforms for constant torque generation of SRMs, but also compensates non-linear torque-current characteristic of SRMs. In this paper, some experimental results are presented to demonstrate the validity of the proposed control.
