Abstract :
This paper presents the design and development of a special phase locked loop (PLL) for W-CDMA mobile terminal (MT) application. The PLL module includes dual loop to cover two different band, such as from 1920 MHz to 1980 MHz and 380 MHz. The PLL is designed using a dual frequency synthesizer, and integrated on one PCB. The test results shows that phase noise is -70 dBc@10 kHz and output power is -10 dBm at 1950 MHz, as well as phase noise is -80 dBc@10 kHz and output power is -8 dBm at 380 MHz
