  • Abstract
    The purpose of this article is to ascertain the characteristic elements of Litchi in Zengcheng city, Guangdong province. Eleven elements in Litchi fruit and soil samples were determined by Inductively Coupled Plasma-Atomic Emission Spectrometer (ICP-AES). The content of trace elements in various parts of the fruit and the soil samples and the Biological Absorption Coefficient are analyzed. The characteristic elements of Litchi are mostly decided by the local soil environment. The results showed that: (1) Litchi in Zengcheng city was rich in trace elements; (2) The Biological Absorption Coefficient of the various elements is different, which means that the absorptive capacity of the sections in Litchi differ from each other.
