Abstract
A current-mode sorting circuit based on magnitude for pattern recognition is proposed. In this sorting circuit, a symmetric WTA (winner take all) network is employed to find maximum current. Then, sorted currents based on magnitude are outputted in time-shared way. This sorting circuit has a simple and flexible structure. Results of experiment show that it has good performances. It can be widely used in pattern recognition, classification, expert systems and so on
