Abstract
The essay designs a target positioning and tracking system based on the binocular vision. According to the method of look-up compressed tables, image capture module transfers the digital image to HSV color space. Introduce a self-adaptive threshold segmentation algorithm based on the 3σ principle of control chart theory to recognize the target. Calculate the relative position to the target by the simplified binocular vision model to accomplish the goal of fast tracking and ranging. Experimental results are presented to demonstrate that the proposed system can real time locate and track the target accurately.
