Abstract :
Successful implementation of new technologies and systems is vital for sustaining and enhancing the competitive position of an organization. However, many implementation efforts fail due to resistance or non-acceptance of new systems. This paper focuses on the factors that influence enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems implementation, it analyzes the critical factors that influence ERP implementation based on the interpretative structural model, and a multilevel stratum structure model for influential factors of implementing ERP is established. Therefore, it can be used to conduct pre-implementation analysis of ERP systems.
