Abstract :
External information plays an important role in group decision making process, yet research about the acquisition and use of external information in group decision making process has been lacking. Inherent weaknesses in individuals and groups to acquire external information have made it necessary to build an external information support system. This paper proposes an overall framework of external information support system for GSS and introduces its system architecture, major components and related technical issues in detail. Conclusions and future work are also discussed.
