Abstract :
This paper considers the problem of controlling continuous-time linear parameter varying (LPV) systems when performance is measured in terms of prespecified, finite-time bounds on plant signal amplitude. Sufficient conditions for bounded amplitude performance of such systems, useful for both analysis and synthesis purposes, are proven. The conditions are also useful in that they can be reformulated as linear matrix inequality (LMI) conditions amenable to efficient numerical techniques
