Abstract :
Microstrip rectangular ring narrow band bandpass filter elements are proposed for GSM system applications. The filter elements are designed to have first and second resonances respectively at the GSM900 and GSM1800 frequency bands. Coarse and fine control mechanisms of the resonance frequency are investigated. Single element and five stages filters have been designed, fabricated and measured. A good agreement has been obtained between simulations and experimental results
