Abstract
This paper presents design method and examples of dielectric multi-layer bandpass filters with Butterworth characteristics for three-media system in the optical wavelength range. The external medium of the filter is air, BK-7, or Si while the filter itself consists of SiO2 and TiO2 layers. The percentage bandwidth is below 10 percent. The angle of incidence is below 30 degrees with s and p polarized ray. Attenuation characteristics of designed filters agree well with design objectives
