  • Abstract
    This paper presents experimental results of a low speed and low capacity multi-polar synchronous generator system directly coupled to a vertical-axis type windmill. In the paper, we introduce the outline of the 5kW multi-polar synchronous generator which generates the electric power efficiently at the low speed from 50rpm to 180rpm. The generator is produced by a magnetic powder core for cost reduction. We also express the outline and field test results of the low capacity power plant.
