Abstract
Automatic vision systems are needed to build industrial applications able to adapt themselves to their environment. To allow the development of such robust applications, the authors propose a software tool named OCAPI, which uses artificial intelligence techniques, to handle knowledge about components of software libraries including their goals and their proper usage. An example of a knowledge base for a pattern recognition problem is presented
