Abstract :
This research seeks to provide a Weblog-based knowledge management solution to solve the problem of knowledge sharing and knowledge creation in organizations. The methods include literature analysis and discussion with experts. We first examine the major problems of technology-oriented knowledge management model in knowledge sharing and knowledge creation: the emphasis on explicit knowledge, and the ´push´ style that neglects the demand and motivation of individual. And then, by synthesizing and integrating relevant material, we propose a systematic Weblog-based knowledge management model of a ´pull´ style and a practical implementation method in order to solve the problem of former model. By discussing the weaknesses of Weblog-based model - incompleteness in knowledge capturing and uncontrollability in management, we recommend that the best implementation is to combine the advantages of both models in order to form a two-way and cyclical Weblog-based model.
