Abstract
In this paper, a self-adaptive population dimension Differential Evolution (DE) method is proposed to optimize the fixture design for large optical glass assembly. We focus on the optimization of the clamping forces, the number of the locating points and the position of the clamping points of the fixture to obtain the minimum deformation of the glass. The simulation results show that the proposed method is effective for the optical element clamping optimization analysis.
