Abstract
This paper presents a direct I/Q modulation scheme for RF module design in W-CDMA MT. The RF module is consists of I/Q quadrature modulator at 1920~1980 MHz and I/Q demodulator at 190 MHz, IF AGC amplifiers, LNA/mixers, power amplifier and PLL local oscillators, etc. The noise figure and sensitivity of receiver and the ACPR of transmitter in the RF module are simulated. Finally, experimental results of receiving level and transmitting power versus controlling voltage are shown. The carrier suppression and ACPR are less than -40 dBc
