Abstract :
The effect of irrigation of municipal reclaimed wastewater on soil microbial properties in Bei Yechang irrigation area was studied. Reclaimed wastewater irrigation and freshwater is similar to a certain extent can increase the microbial biomass carbon (MBC) under different treatments, rotation treatment increase significantly among these treatments, and almost close to CK. Soil respiration highly negative correlated with microbial metabolic quotient (qCO2) in line with the growth of tomato, increased with the amount of irrigation, these two indexes can be used as bioindicator of the quality of soil irrigated with reclaimed wastewater. Besides, NP and other nutrient elements were insufficient to meet demand normally in critical crop growth, and a larger decline in soil quality, should be imposed at this time of organic manure to maintain soil quality and fertility.
