Abstract :
A novel all-optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (AO-OFDM) scheme based on high speed optical sampling is proposed and demonstrated. A 20 Gb/s two subcarrier AO-OFDM transmission experiment is carried out with optical cyclic postfix inserted.
