Abstract :
Frequency domain equalization (FDE) based pre-equalization is proposed for 100 Gb/s class coherent OFDM. Numerical simulation showed that pre-equalization for chromatic dispersion slightly outperforms post-equalization thanks to its smaller inter-block interference.
