  • Abstract
    The paper deals with a dc bus voltage sensor fault tolerant control (FTC) for a single phase PWM rectifier used in electric traction application. FTC increases the availability and reliability of the system, since it allows fault detection and isolation (FDI) of faulty component and then control reconfiguration. Estimator and Luenberger observer are developed in order to generate residual for fast FDI of the DC voltage sensor. Reconfiguration is performed by substituting faulty measured values by the estimated ones. Simulation results are shown to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed fault tolerant control.
