  • Abstract
This paper deals with a supervisory for parallel operated Doubly Fed Induction Generators (DFIGs) based variable wind systems connected to the grid. This supervisory is designed to enhance the performance capability of this DFIG-based wind farm maximum power tracking, under different wind velocity and under small grid faults, depending on the operator power request. Detailed dynamic mathematical models are used to investigate the dynamic behavior of the system for various operating regions. The authors give a solution to benefit in each wind speed of the maximum power whatever the operator power requests less or superior of total available power given by the farm, and demonstrate how to reduce the consequences of the voltage dip, via a specific power reference.
