In this paper we will consider the realisation of a number of hybrid structures and systems of potential application in the fields of microelectronics and microwaves: (1) Important properties of HTS superconductors from the point of view of device applications. (2) Thick and thin film technologies. (3) Thick devices and systems. (4) HTS thin film systems/devices with ferroelectric and ferrite components. (5) HTS-hybrid multilayer structures
