Abstract :
Presents complex combinational ASIC design by 4th year computer science students. The circuit, combinational, is complex enough to exhibit several problems. It performs calendar-type calculations. The parts of the circuit are presented. The challenge was to design and test such a circuit during one academic year. The steps are explained.<>
