Abstract
This paper presents a consistency maintenance system for spatial navigation with integration of fuzzy and two-valued logics on spatial reasoning. We introduce a simple semantics of natural language which can treat fuzzy and two-valued logics, both of which are essential in natural language sentences, especially on spatial depiction. For realizing the reasoning system, we propose a fuzzy assumption-based truth management system (FATMS) and apply image synthesis system with natural language input data.
