Abstract :
Giant negative magnetoresistance manganites are a family of materials showing a wide variety of properties. Basic understanding of the material is still a challenge but will inevitably enable deeper insight into the behaviour of many other members of the conducting oxides family. Specific properties of the mixed valence manganites demonstrate that these materials have potentially useful technological application
