Abstract :
The dynamic alliance of enterprises is a temporary alliance that all partners come together to share their skills, core competencies, and resources in order to better respond to the business opportunities. It is widely accepted as a solution to the quick introduction of variety of products with high quality and low costs into the new global market environment. The formation of an alliance is the most critical process in the whole lifecycle of the alliance. In this paper, a quantitative analysis method for the partner selection in an alliance is proposed by taking into considerations of the cost, due date and product quality. Since the target function is non-analytical and can not be solved with a closed format, a fuzzy logic based decision making process for the project scheduling is presented. A fuzzy decision embedded genetic algorithm is developed to find the solution to the resource selection. This approach, successfully verified by a specifically designed experiment, is demonstrated to be a potential solution and optimization to the resource selection even for a large alliance
