Abstract :
Aircraft cable is the important part in modern aircraft which serves as the transmission medium of dynamic electric source, control signal and data information for control system, the aerial electronic system and so on. The fault diagnosis and location of the aircraft cable is the major task for the maintenance staff. The functional relationship between the physical parameters--the voltage and current of two-terminal and the fault location of aircraft cable is defined and a mathematical model of aircraft cable fault location is created based on the electric theory of distribution parameter circuit in this paper. A back propagation neural network is selected as the control algorithm because neural network can control nonlinear object effectually. An aircraft cable fault location system is designed and the simulation result shows that the system is rational and effective.
