Abstract
This paper addresses essential regulatory requirements, i.e., electromagnetic compatibility, radio spectrum, RF safety and electrical safety, for CDMA mobile stations. Technical standards in accordance with the essential requirements in USA, Europe and China are discussed and compared with each other.
