Abstract
This paper describes the challenges two technical communication departments faced in planning and executing a shared interactive international video lecture and a multi-site documentation review meeting. These two activities support the prospect of further sharing in technical communication courses and programs. Both faculty and students had the opportunity for meaningful intercultural exchanges. From these very specific collaborations, what considerations should be given to more complex initiatives? International program partnering begins with small steps.
