Abstract :
This paper provides an outline of the TINA Ret Reference Point (Ret-RP), a specification of the business relationships between a consumer and a retailer. It describes the functionalities of the access and usage parts defined in this reference point. Explanations are given on the concepts of session models and feature sets together with suggestions on how retailers can extend the specifications to incorporate their own capabilities, e.g. different session models or interfaces. Furthermore the paper describes details of a prototype implementation which was developed to validate, and show the applicability of the Ret-RP specification
