Abstract
A shielding enclosure with an aperture is modeled and simulated by using the FDTD method. The case of a plane wave source is discussed, and the transmitted field through an aperture and the shielding effectiveness inside the enclosure are calculated. Some results are obtained. The results of the FDTD and ETL methods are compared.
