Abstract :
With the advent of collaborative distributed work, it is necessary to study and adapt the traditional models of these new platforms. Various models of design and architecture were set up but the effectiveness of a collaborative platform lies on the capacity which it will have to make really collaborative work i.e. to place the actors in a situation nearest possible to a virtual room of examination: we speak about conscious of the human co-operators or actors awareness. We propose the Continuum of Collaboration as continuity of the collaborative workspace which is declined in three levels going from coordination to collaboration while passing by the cooperation. This continuity is augmented by a Clover which gathers several spaces which determine functional dimensions of collaborative work. This new model was applied in the European project named TeNeCi (Cooperative Tele-neurology).
