Abstract :
Design of cooling system for hot stamping die was studied in this paper, through analysis of phase transformation of stamping parts, die structure strength and deformation requirements of die and stamping parts. Order of cooling system parameters effecting on stamping parts temperature was studied, it was found that, effect of distance between die surface and cooling pipe was the greatest influencing parameter. With heating temperature of 950°C, heating time of 4.5min, stamping velocity of 65mm/s, pressure holding time of 13s, high quality of 22MnB5 stamping parts were obtained, with tensile strength beyond 1500Mpa and yield strength beyond 1000Mpa.
