Abstract :
TINA´s Connection Management Architecture (CMA) is characterized by a hierarchy of connection performers (CPs) acting over subnetworks and at the low level, open interfaces to switch resources. The paper describes the QoS based routing approach adopted in ReTINA with its dual advantages of subnetwork centralized calculation together with truly distributed processing gains. Those distributed link-by-link performance figures are presented for the low level switch interface
